Card Controls
Turn off what you are not using
Each control is a switch in the app. Turning one off means eligible payments of that kind are declined until you turn it back on.
Online payments
Allow or block card payments made online.
Contactless
Allow or block contactless payments in person.
ATM withdrawals
Allow or block cash withdrawals.
Country restrictions
Limit where an eligible card can be used.
Merchant categories
Block categories of spending you do not want.
Notifications
Push notifications are normally sent promptly after eligible transactions are recorded.
Delivery may depend on network, device and notification settings.
Freeze & Replace
Freeze it the moment something feels wrong
Freeze or unfreeze an eligible card in the app. Changes are normally applied promptly; contact support immediately if the card is lost or stolen.
Unfreeze when you are ready
An eligible frozen card can be unfrozen in the app; the change is normally applied promptly.
Replace a card
Order a replacement for an eligible card if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
Withdrawals abroad
Coming soonUptex does not charge an ATM withdrawal fee within the applicable monthly allowance.
ATM operator, FX and out-of-allowance fees may still apply.
